How much does a membership cost?
We offer annual memberships for motor carriers and brokers at $120, shippers post free, pay annual $120 membership for added services such as searching for carriers, equipment.
Annual membership is $120 per year, but I'm allowing eveyrbody on free until I decide otherwise.
Can I benefit through referrals?
Any motor carrier or shipper member who signs 10 additional members onto B4DC Freight will receive a year membership at the $120 annual intro. price, plus three months free.
Have the new member send email with your contact information, call or email with that member information for verification, & I'll upgrade you to receive three free months.
Basic how to qualify a motor carrier?
Go to the FMCSA Safer Site:

Satisfactory rating by FMCSA bottom of page, OK to work with motor carrier.
Conditional rating or none: Go to safer stat results, top R hand corner page one, typically brokers will use carriers with a combined score of 75 or lower. Use your own discretion.
Unsatisfactory: Don't use.
Verify authority is active, if not active don't use.
Verify common or contract carrier or requirements to fit your circumstances such as household goods, or passenger.
Insurance: Top R hand corner of page one, Licensing & Insurance.
Verify insurance, liability, cargo, & amount. $750K to $1,000,000 liability is required, industry norm., cargo & deductabes vary, use judgement according to value of your freight, & needs.
Have insurance co. fax cert of ins, with your company, name, address, as cert holder. Your info should be in lower left hand corner as cert. holder.
These are basic guidelines many brokers go by, some brokers pay no attention to this information, & use carriers you may not. These guidelines aren't a guarantee, use your best judgement, the same as a motor carrier does in choosing a shipper based on credit scores.
Always have a signed confirmation with all required information no differently than working with a broker.
Offer fuel advances & quick pay with fees or at a percentage if you so choose.
Why join B4DC Freight LLC
The transportation system we use is changing, outdated, costing US billions of dollars a year due to fuel costs, infrastructure, traffic congestion, heatlh care costs, and 20% of truck miles are empty trucks while freight transportation uses two thirds of US fuel.
Congress is currently working to raise brokerage bond from $10K to $100K, along with provisions that will drive many small brokers and carriers out of business.
When mom & pop brokers sell to the larger trucking companies it will push margins up, smaller brokers, independent carriers out of business, taking the price of everything we buy up while driving sales tax up as well.
Working together shippers, brokers, and carriers can create a network to reduce deadhead miles, offset the loss of brokers, carriers, driver, equipment shortage and addition cost in margin due to smaller brokers being pushed out of business.
Congress is passing laws that will increase the cost of shipping freight, CSA2010, food safety, cargo theft, infrastructure costs, fuel, fuel tax increases, possibly set at percentage, many suggest we put on heavy trucks, emissions, health care costs will dictate an increase in everything we buy, and it will be passed along through tranpsortation.
President Obama is suggesting investigating price fixing, oil prices driven up through the market, which in fact was the driving force in busting the housing bubble.
Shippers, brokers working with motor carriers, creating dedicated lanes through independent motor carries, reducing deadhead miles, equivilent of asset based carriers, holding down rates, paying carriers more, reducing accidents, injury, death, emissions, & health care costs.
